History about Malaysia;
Peninsular Malaysia was unified as the Malayan Union in 1946. Malaya was restructured as the Federation of Malaya in 1948 and achieved independence on 31 August 1957. The independent Malaya united with the then British crown colonies of North Borneo, Sarawak, and Singapore on 16 September 1963 to become Malaysia. Singapore then decided to left Malaysia because of some conflicts and issues that occured at that moment.
•What makes Malaysia so unique?
1) Various types of traditional food 🥟🍝
- In Malaysia, there are many types of cuisine that you can choose from Malay to Chinese. For instance, Nasi Lemak is a Malaysia's signature dish that most of Malaysian likes to order it when they are dine in the restaurant.
2) Unity of many races🧑🏻🤝🧑🏻👭🏻
- Malaysia consists of 3 main races which are Malay, Chinese and Indian. Back in the day, these 3 races are mostly cannot tolerate with each other because of their differences but our first prime minister, Tunku Abdul Rahman unite these races for peace. Now, we can see that people with different types of races can sit together in the restaurant and have a mutual conversation.
3) A lot of culture in one country✨
- As we know, Malaysia not just consists of 3 races only, specifically saying that Malaysia has more than 30 races and tribes either in peninsula Malaysia or in Sabah and Sarawak. As a result, we can noticed that there are a lot of traditional costumes and so on.
4) Many celebrations and festivals🎊🎉
- In Malaysia, there are many celebrations that we celebrate every year. As an example, we celebrate Eid Mubarak together at school and also people likes to organize an open house to strengthen relationships.
5) The slangs are different for every states.
- Malaysia has 11 states and 3 federal Territories.
Every states has their own slangs or dialects. We take Sabah as an example, the "Bah" word is the most famous word when it comes to sabahan people.

As one of the citizens of Malaysia, I pledge to;
1) Make my country a safer place for people.
2) Protecting endangered species of animals and plants in the country.
3) Became a law abiding citizen
4) Participate in social activities like cleaning up activity
5) Contribute and giving back to the community
To conclude everything that stated, We need to appreciate our older generations' hardwork for achieving the freedom that we have today. In addition, we need to respect others' religion and beliefs in order to to maintain peace and relationships between people of different races.
